What is The OC Locker Room?
Release Late April 2025The OC Locker Room is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which distributes sports equipment and uniforms to youth at no cost. The organization is based in Oregon City, Oregon, and distributes to youth in the surrounding communities.
Key Functionality
Easy Information Discovery
While their original website was a great step to getting the organization online, information was very difficult to find and there was not much consistency in the type of information being provided. It lacked clear, consistent, accessible, easily navigable information about the organization and its services, confusing potential donators and those needing equipment.
This redesign focused on providing easy access to all of their donation and pick up sites, highlighting previously missing information such as addresses and contact details, schedule, accessibility accomodations and more.
Simple, Pain-Free Management For The Staff
The backend of the website has a custom-built CMS to meet the organization’s specific needs, which allows for easy updates and content management. Multiple staff members are now able to manage the organization’s content and information without having to attempt to learn how to manage a webpage.
With the flip of a toggle switch, data can be hidden or shown on a per site basis, making it simple for staff to manage daily changes. Along with a fully responsive mobile view, they can update on the fly.
